Radiology: The hospital includes a radiology suite containing stationary and portable X-Rays and a Fluoroscope (real-time x-ray).
Ultrasound: Modern ultrasound procedures are available.
EKG: Routine EKGs can be done without shaving hair or pinching skin to attach leads! In-house EKGs can be referred to a cardiologist for further interpretation.
Laboratory: Our hospital contains a full service in-house laboratory. Most test results can be complete in 20 minutes or less!
Endoscopy: We are equipped with multiple diagnostic endoscopes.
Surgery: The hospital has a modern surgical suite with monitors for respiration, pulse, oxygen levels and ekg. Surgical instrumentation includes real-time surgical x-ray, ocular Cavitron, Electrosurgical unit, and a laparoscope. We have a defibulator and respirator in the suite for emergencies.
Anesthesia: Multiple types of anesthesia are routinely used. Some procedures require just sedation, while others require complete anesthesia using the most current anesthesia methods.
Intensive Care: Intensive care units that are temperature regulated with oxygen supply are available.
Dentistry: We perform routine dental work and maxillofacial surgery.
Red Cross: We are partnered with local Emergency Management and by the Red Cross as a facility meeting the standards to activate as an emergency shelter if the need in the community arises, such as people displaced by a hurricane or tornado.
Boarding: Boarding units are heated and air conditioned. Boarders are encouraged to bring a little piece of home when they vacation! We provide Science Diet food. We have large indoor exercise runs for our boarding dogs to play in during the day. Cats have “trees” in their cages to provide privacy and reduce boredom. Cats are always provided a litter pan.
Grooming: Grooming services are provided on Tuesday and Friday each week by appointment. Rhonda has been grooming for over 25 years.
Equines: We have preventive care programs for horses and donkeys. We provide equine dentistry and minor surgical procedures. Did you know that Rabies vaccinations are important for horses? Horses are curious and often get exposed to Rabies!
Livestock: We have the facility to treat livestock. Please contact a staff member before unloading any livestock. Although we try to make appointments, we are flexible with times for livestock.
